TWELVE-YEAR-OLD PAYS IT FORWARD TO HELP OTHER FOSTER KIDS

Twelve-year-old Darius Noonan, who resides North of Boston, has a new adventure. He wants to pay it forward to help other foster children in Massachusetts.

Darius was adopted from foster care by Kevin and Maria Noonan. “My son said Trouble made him feel better and made him feel safe [during his time in foster care], because he knew what trouble felt like… and he still sleeps with Trouble every night,” Maria says. 

In fact, Darius received such great comfort from a gift of the Trouble the Dog plush toy and storybook, that he decided he wants to help give Trouble the Dog to other children in foster care.

Inspired by their son, Darius’s parents posted a message on Facebook. “We are trying to help our son Darius with his new adventure to pay it forward to help out other foster children in and around this area with Trouble the Dog. Darius is raising money to give as many kids in foster care a Trouble the dog, so they can have hope of better days!  If you can give, please go to @dsnoonan12 on Venmo or by check.
